Holy Ghost - Halloween Activity Days

We decided to do a fun Halloween activity, but wanted to bring in the spirit, literally. So, we decided to go with a Holy Ghost themed Activity Days. Candy hosted this time. She just pulled decor that she already had from around her house. It turned out SO cute!
When the girls arrived, they were given this game. The new printable was created with inspiration from HERE. I just wanted to make a smaller version. You are welcome to print it. I did 6 per page. I slipped it into fry bags that I happened to have laying around.

The girls loved it, and it kept them entertained while we waited for everyone to arrive.
Candy made these merengue ghosts. Could you die? SO cute!!!
They were the perfect addition to the, "pumpkin sludge," dirt cups she made for the girls. Too cute!
We talked about the Hold Ghost with the girls, and they were all so sweet, talking about times they had felt it. We gave them this printable. Found HERE. It is the cutest poem about Halloween, and the Holy Ghost!
Next, the girls got to make a super easy and original ghost craft!

You will need:

2 styrofoam balls (2 inch or bigger)
1 toothpick
3 circles of cheese cloth (I cut out 8 layers at a time, and had it all ready)
2 to 4 straight pins with colorful tops
ribbon for bows (optional)

Flatten the bottom/base of one ball, so it will stand, and stick a toothpick in the top.
Stick the next ball on the toothpick.
Cover with layers of cheesecloth.
Poke eye pins in.
Cute and easy! I like how the cheesecloth will take whatever shape you place it in.
Candy got out some ribbon last minute, and I think addend the bow made them extra adorable (for girls)!
Boy ghosts pictured below. Some of the girls wanted to add mouths too. If I did this again, I might even buy brads for the mouths.
The last thing we did was have the skeleton game ready for them. Found HERE. I had them cut out, and ready to go in these cute little bags.
The girls thought this game was fun as well.
We sent each girl home with a copy of the pumpkin game, the Holy Ghost poem, the ghost craft, the skeleton game, and the ghostly dirt cup. And hopefully, a warm spirit in her heart :)
Thanks for stopping by. See you again soon!

We have lots more to share!

  1. What fun ideas! Thank you for sharing:)

  2. This is so cute! How big of circles did you cut the cheesecloth?

  3. Awesome! Can't wait to put these ideas into use. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Such cute ideas! I would love to use this as an activity and was wondering if you have a link or file you could share to the little poem? When I try the link in the blog post, it says it no longer exists. Thanks in advance for any help!

  5. If you are new to the world of work at home jobs let me assure you that you should look at all of the opportunities for working at home that are available to you these days and not just concentrate on the more classic work at home options.glam barware
